OS X의 서체 관리는 제가 정리해 놓은 내용을 먼저 참고해 보시기 바랍니다.

폰트 설치 폴더 세 개 중에서 라이브러리의 폰트 폴더와 사용자 홈 폴더의 라이브러리에 있는 폰트 폴더에는 서체를 임의로 추가 및 삭제를 하셔도 됩니다.
시스템의 라이브러리에 있는 폰트 폴더만을 건드리지 않으시면 별반 문제는 없을 것이구요.
따라서 시스템의 폰트 폴더를 제외한 나머지 두 곳의 폰트 폴더는 편하게 정리를 하셔도 무관할 것입니다.
OS가 사용하는 폰트, 모든 사용자가 사용하는 폰트(사용자가 여러 명일 때 누구든 이용하는 서체를 설치), 로그인 사용자가 사용하는 폰트(로그인을 한 사용자만 사용을 하며 대부분 단일 계정으로 사용을 하므로 이곳을 이용함)로 나누어 폰트 폴더를 구성해 놓은 관계로 복잡해 보일 수도 있으나, 그 내용은 무척 단순하므로 크게 염려를 하지 않으셔도 될 것입니다.
즉, 시스템 > 라이브러리 > Fonts 폴더만을 건드리지 않으시면 될 것입니다.
